UPDATE: Microsoft sunset IE on June 15, 2022 

Our team has deployed a fix for clients who are still running Internet Explorer for outlook add-in’s. Please note this is a temporary fix. Microsoft sunset IE on June 15, 2022.  


We’re extending its life for our customers for the time being during the transition to Outlook 2019 or newer. 

LawToolBox will no longer be supporting access through Internet Explorer 11. 


Internet Explorer is an outdated browser that can create a security risk for you company as it is no longer supported by Microsoft and has reached it's end of life June 15th.


What this mean for you:

If you are accessing LawToolBox using app.lawtoolbox.com or using and older desktop version of Windows / Outlook (2016 or Citrix), Outlook may be using Internet Explorer 11 to run Office add-ins. If this is the case you will need to use a modern browser to access app.lawtoolbox.com such as Chrome or Edge.


What we recommend:

If you are using the Outlook add-in using Internet Explorer you will need to upgrade your version of Outlook and windows. You can also use app.lawtoolbox.com in a modern browser to access the same features as in our Outlook add-in.

  3. Lastly, this link will tell you depending on the version of Windows and Outlook you are using whether your Outlook add-ins are using edge or Internet Explorer 11 for Office add-ins.


How to refresh LawToolBox, running on IE:

  1. Clear cache for Internet Explorer browser

  2. Sign out of desktop version of LawToolBox

  3. Open a browser (Edge or Chrome) and sign into app.lawtoolbox.com 

  4. Sign back into outlook desktop outlook


How to clear Internet Explorer Cache:

Gear Icon > Internet Options > Delete

Delete Browsing History
