To calculate the SOL reminders, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Due Date calculator (Outlook Calendar)
- Create a matter
- Select your ruleset e.g. Pre-Litigation
- Enter your Date of Alleged loss of injury
Calculate: Date of Loss
Note: No deadlines get calculated for date of loss trigger date

You are responsible for determining the Statute of Limitations expiration date.
Below FAQ follows a two year example:
- Two years from date of loss 11/03/2025
- SOL Expires 11/03/2027
Step 2: Create SOL Reminders
- Option 1: Due Date Calculation
- Option 2: Appointment + Reminders
- Option 3: Recurring event

Calculate: SOL Countdown
Use the date when SOL Expires as your trigger date
SOL Expires (11/03/2027, two years from date of loss 11/03/2025)

Name your Due Date events
Add both the date SOL expires
Add the date of injury

Additional email reminders scheduled for 120,90,60,30,14,7,2,1 days before the deadlines

Select your end date as day the SOL Expires (11/03/2027)
