FAQ: Adding designated LawToolBox Users to an M365 Security Group with “create Groups” permissions
Many of our corporate legal department clients and some law firms have existing M365 security groups that limit the ability -- to a designed set of users – with the permission to create groups and teams.
Question: Why do designated LawToolBox users need permissions to create groups?
Answer: In order for a designated subset of LawToolBox end users in the legal department to be able to “create LawToolBox matters” and manage users, those designated LawToolBox users need access to create groups (LawToolBox technology creates a group for matter)
Please identify who those users are and ask your IT department to:
a) add those users to your existing security group with create group permissions
b) please let LTB rep know who those users are so that we can label them with special access: (Groups admin)
