To ensure emails and deadline notifications from the LawToolBox system reach your organization we recommend whitelisting our emails. There are a few different ways to do this and for the purposes of this article, we’re only focusing on Microsoft 365’s and Mimecast's email filtering systems.
If using third-party services (Proofpoint, Mimecast, Barracuda, Intermedia) consult your support for those services directly if you need help to whitelist data.

Option 1 (Recommended) Using Microsoft 365 Defender Policies
Open the Security Center (Microsoft 365 Defender)
- Navigate to Policies and Rules > Threat Rules
- Click on Anti-Spam
3. Click on Connection Filter Policy (Default)
4. Click Edit connection filter policy in the fly-out
5. Add the IP Addresses below to whitelist

6. Enable Turn on safe list
7. Click Save and close to apply the settings.
Specific Emails included in LTB Services
Option 2 - using Mail Flow Rules in Exchange Admin
Whitelist domain and IP via Exchange Admin Center > Mail Flow Rules
- Expand Mail flow and click on Rules
- Click on the plus icon and select Bypass Spam Filtering
- Enter a name for the rule
- Under Apply this rule if, select Domain is
- Enter the lawtoolbox.com to whitelist
- Click add condition (+ symbol on the right) and choose IP Address is in any of these ranges
- Enter the IP Address of the application (Enter each of these IP Addresses individually and press Add after each)
