LawToolBox Group Use:
We use the group as the engine to send and update deadlines to the right calendars for your matters.
- When we create a group in your M365 for every matter
- e.g. tb.acme_v_met@mydomain.onmicrosoft.com
- the tb. prefix is the default. Prefix be customized if needed
- The matter "group" is the event organizer instead of a person
- of all the calendar events are sent from "Acme v Met Matter", not Jean Contoso
- "Share matter" in LawToolBox adds attorneys and staff as M365 group members to receive the deadlines.
- A LawToolBox Matter gets shared in LawToolBox with 3 people (In LTB app under "my matters")
- M365 group members are the same 3 people (control the calendar events in Outlook)
- LawToolBox sends deadlines to the M365 group calendar
- e.g. Acme v Met Matter / tb.acme_v_met@mydomain.onmicrosoft.com
- Only members of the M365 group can add or modify deadlines in outlook
- Microsoft takes the group calendar and sends deadlines to each member (attorney/staff) on their personal Outlook calendar
