Are you getting an email notification that "user doesn't have a valid Office 365 license" when making changes to one of your matters?

  • LawToolBox couldn't recognize this user or reach their Outlook calendar.


Possible causes and solutions:

This depends if this is a new or an existing user in LawToolBox.

  1. Departed user who is no longer with the firm, but hasn't been removed from LawToolBox matters
  2. Unsupported user mailbox - shared mailbox, alias, or unlicensed user in M365
  3. Typo in the email field or missing email record or UPN/SMTP mismatch in LawToolBox
