How to set up outlook rules

Option 1 (Preferred):

Desktop Outlook   

  1. Inbox Rules (all users) - Desktop Outlook 
  2. Calendar Rule (all users) - Canceled calendar filter (Desktop Outlook)


Other Options:


IT Only - PowerShell

IT Only - Import Rules

  1. Create an inbox folder "LTB Deadlines"
  2. Import rules attached at the bottom of the article "Import_Outlook_Rules.rwz"


Outlook Web Access (OWA)

  1. Inbox Rules (all users) - Outlook Web Access (OWA)
  2. Calendar Rule (all users) - Canceled calendar filter (Desktop Outlook)


Mac

  1. Mac Outlook (Classic): Inbox Rules (all users) - Desktop Outlook on Mac (Classic)
  2. Mac New Outlook: Inbox Rules (all users) - Desktop Outlook on Mac (New Outlook)

Outlook Rules for Each User
A user includes anyone sending, receiving deadlines, reports, documents using LawToolBox
Move any messages containing these words in the subject or body to a new folder you create called “LTB Deadlines”. Please note that search teams for Outlook Rules are cap sensitive.


Cap sensitive All Users:

Add upcoming group events
View group in outlook
added to a team in Microsoft Teams

Outlook > Calendar > View > View Settings > Filter > Tab: 
Advanced > 

Define more criteria: Field > All Appointment Fields > Subject >

Condition: doesn’t contain > Value: Canceled: > Add to List
