Welcome to LawToolBox! You admin users added you to the firm and you can log into LawToolBox to get started.


WHERE TO START

1. Get to know your internal Admin & Expert Users (See related article)

  1. They can verify you are added as a user in LawToolBox
  2. Your admin and expert users are the first point of contact for questions on LawToolBox
  3. They can share how your firm is using LawToolBox & train you on using LawToolBox


2. Make sure your Outlook Rules are enabled

*If you are getting these emails in your inbox, your outlook rules need to be set up

HELPFUL TIPS (see attached below)

  • Start your day by looking at the dashboard to see upcoming deadlines
  • Click on the matter name to access the matter menu
  • User the pin option to keep LawToolBox open when you read a new email
  • Just opened outlook and LawToolBox is grey? Open an email to read (learn more)
  • Maintain all matters as synced (green), delete all unsynced deadlines (learn more)
  • Run a date range report weekly or bi-weekly by attorney, firm wide or practice group

SET UP YOUR FIRST CASE  
Click on Matters > + New Matter > choose your Rule-set> add matter members > calculate deadlines > click “Sync” & Add Selected
