Issue: If your matter group is deleted, please have your Microsoft 365 admin restore the group following these instructions.

Different Issue: Help: All flashing triangles? Cache Issue do this instead Help: Refresh the app and clear cache

Issue Example:

The group is deleted or doesn't exist

  • One flashing triangle in "My Matters"
  • When modifying existing deadlines or deleting from LawToolBox, events remain in outlook
  • Oops or Error when adding new deadlines

Solution:

  • Is this a brand-new matter? Check for the "Create group" option in the menu to finish the matter setup.
  • An existing matter that's been deleted in M365 > Restore a deleted Microsoft 365 group as a M365 Admin

Notes:

  • LawToolBox does NOT delete groups. This occurs outside of LawToolBox in your M365.
  • Closing a matter in LawToolBox archives the matter, but the M365 group will remain active.
  • When a group gets deleted LawToolBox can no longer communicate with the Outlook calendar and other features.
  • Why does the group matter? Help: M365 Groups for LawToolBox
  • Someone may have deleted the associated Team in Microsoft Teams, instead of hiding it.
